Library Basics

Research Assistance

Off-Campus Access

If you are off-campus, you will need to enter your myDelVal credentials to login to a database. You will be prompted for this after you've clicked on the database. Contact us with any questions: library@delval.edu, or 215-489-2953.

Book/DVD Circulation

Most books may be checked out for three weeks.  If no one is waiting for the titles, you may then renew them for another three weeks.  There is no limit to the number of books you may check out.  DVDs are available for three-day loans.

Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 11:45 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Interlibrary Loan

If you've found a book or article you want, but it's not available here at the Krauskopf Library, it's still possible to get it, through a process called Interlibrary Loan, or ILL for short.
