Research Project + Essay Assignment Description:

Based on your study and evaluation of the advantages and consequences of using carbon-based fossil fuels and/or renewable "green" energy, contemplate the following question: What is the future of fuel? Your argumentative research-based essay should develop around a viable, logical thesis statement whose arguments and illustrations are supported by as many as fifteen (15) separate reliable sources. The final product must meet the minimum expectations set for this assignment in order to receive a passing grade: 10-12 pp. min./max.; MLA Style + Works Cited page. Refer to the full assignment sheet distributed in class on April 5, and complete each stage of the pre-writing and rhetorical planning assignments according to its directions. (Students need to consult and complete the assignment materials currently posted on Blackboard.)
